Ali Al-Shabibi, Board Advisor 

 

Ali serves as a Board Advisor with Frontier Partners. His 30 years of experience was gained in professional services as well as managing his own businesses

 

He currently serves as a Partner and Head of KPMG in Qatar. He was previously Head of Assurance & Business Transformation with Jamal Al-Ghurair Group of Companies. He also served as a Partner with Frontier Partners and in Ernst & Young for many years where he set up and led the Risk Advisory Practice in Dubai. Previously he spent a number of years working in KPMG London in the Financial Services group serving clients such as Deutsche Bank, Mellon Bank, Credit Suisse and HSBC. He was later seconded to KPMG Singapore for a period of 3 years where he set up the Risk Advisory business

 

In recent years Ali has helped a number of organisations meet their funding needs by connecting them with his network of potential investors. His industry experience covers banking, private equity, real estate and engineering. Ali also serves as an independent director on a number of different boards across the region

 

Ali’s experience covers corporate finance, corporate governance, risk management, financial management, strategic planning and financial reporting. He is a Chartered Accountant (England & Wales) and has a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from UCL (UK)
